I liked it, didn't love it, so I'm posting here.


I wrote some things down while I watched, so here they are, and I hope someone else can help shine some light on my questions:
Faraday tries to use Desmond to change the future because he says Desmond is unique.
Is Desmond unique because he left the island before it started skipping, and is therefore the only way to send a message out of the time-trap they are in?
Or does Faraday know he is unique because of how he reacts when exposed to electromagnetic radiation - that he is able to handle memories from different points in time because, in his future, he's with his constant?

Special people can see the dead on the island - does that make Hurley extra special, because he can see dead people anywhere?
I was writing "With luck, Neil/Frogurt will soon join Nikki & Paolo" when he got hit by the flaming arrow. Does this mean that new, irritating characters on LOST are the equivalent of red-shirts on Star Trek?
