Hurley's mom gets the best lines - she is so funny. She also said something like, good guys don't kill people. I thought that one was important.

even though it's not from this episode, the previous post about Hurley's funny mom reminds me of a favourite line of her's:

"Hugo... Jesus Christ is not a weapon!"

Mine wasn't actually words, but more of an action. When Hurley threw the hot pocket at Ben.

Did she really? That is funny on so many levels!

There are others, but Cheech's little wave and, "Officers," as he's driving by Abbadon & buddy is great. He must have said that in a Cheech & Chong movie at some point too, huh?

Loved hearing Desmond say, "Are you Him?" to Daniel too.

Was it really Abbadon outside watching Hurley's house?!!! I missed that completely!

And the "dead Pakastani" line was my favorite also.

Me too. Slow down workingmom, it wasn't Abaddon it just looked like him. Lance Reddick was not in this episode, that's actually all I know for sure.

Mrs. Reyes' stock rises every time she comes on screen! I *loved* her in this ep!!

The aforementioned "why is there a dead pakistani on my couch?" line was hilarious, but I also really loved the scene with her and Hurley. I could feel the maternal tenderness emanating from my TV screen. Seriously. She's great.

Hurley hurling the HP at Ben was awesome, too, lol!

As for actual lines, I *loved* Sawyer's "This is the ghost of Christmas future!" while knocking on the hatch door. (That may have been in the first hour... if it was, my bad... I actually wish the mods would have put both episodes in one forum.)

This is not exact, but I liked when Hurley said to Sayid,

"Dude, if you'd eat some comfort food, you wouldn't have to go around shooting people."

I loved that line!! I eat comfort food all the time, and it definitely keeps me from stressing.

I feel bad for laughing so loud when Frogurt finally got the fire he was asking for.

Mrs. Reyes has met Sayid on several occasions and should know he's Iraqi, unless she didn't recognize him. Still, the line was priceless.

and when Sawyer was banging on the hatch door saying open up it's the ghost of christmas future! lol.

Ben's face when Hurley threw the Hot Pocket was priceless (Like, who throws a HP? Honestly?)

Also good: "We can't even get fire!" and cue the flaming arrow to the chest....

My favorite was Locke's calm hello James, Juliet after killing what was it three people. Saying like he had just come over for a dinner party.

Ben was loaded with snarky, deadpan lines.. (might be mixing up epis)

Jack: Hurley is locked up in a mental institution.
Ben: Which should make recruiting him considerably easier than the rest of your friends.
Jack: They're not my friends anymore.
Ben: Oh, that's the spirit.

I got a kick out of Sawyer's repeated "got a shirt?" line. (and was kind of glad no one could help him for a while  )

For sheer mind-blowing impact:
Daniel to Sawyer: Your camp isn't gone. It hasn't been built yet.

Hurley explainging the truth to his mom. She looks at him, tries...finally says.

I believe you Hugo...I don't understand any of it, but I believe you.

But the best was the Pakistani line.

Ben telling Jack it time to get his friends (something like that). Jack miserably looks at Ben and says "They're not my friends anymore". Ben replies "That's the spirit".
Perfect delivery.

I still can't believe Frogurt called Sawyer an "inbreed"!

Who gets off with that?!?!?! :shock1:

Although, I suppose he didn't really "get off" with anything... ;)

Best lines: 'I believe you' from Mrs. Reyes ... that was such vindication for Hurley. Also, the 'Ghost of Christmas past' was so classic and (we laughed out LOUD at another Dicken's reference!) clever!

Also, I know I am just echoing everyone else, but the hot pocket was HILARIOUS.

Yes--Hugo's mom is awesome. That scene was both heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Sounds like people are combining favorites from both episodes? Fine with me. I just rewatched BYL, and I really liked a couple that haven't been said yet:

Juliet tells Miles not to bother going back to the beach. Miles: "That chick digs me."

Dan explaining the TT island. Juliet, Miles and Charlotte get it. Sawyer: "What?"

For heartbreak value, Sawyer: "Everyone I care about just blew up on your freighter."

Side note, because it involves a cut line of dialogue. This is from an interview (http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b80289_losts_hurley_next_ghost_romancer_on_abc.htm l)with Jorge (the interview is vaguely spoilery):
You fire a mean Hot Pocket, my friend.
Oh, thank you! That was fun to do. Actually, Michael [Emerson] had a line, "Now that's a terrible waste of a Hot Pocket." I don't know why they cut it, but it was funny. What was awesome was that they made a bunch of rubber Hot Pockets for the scene. I actually hit Michael once with it! Then we used a real Hot Pocket to get a nice, good splat.

This is my favorite line. Reminiscent of the Airplane movie where a character would say, "What is it?" followed by a similar line and, "But that's not important right now"...

All of Sawyers nick names for people crack me up. Has he ever gave Juliette a nickname. Also, I will give a batch of warm hot cookies if you can compose a list of Sawyers nick names for all the Losties. I know the list is long with all the ones he has for dear Hurley.

He has called her Blondie in the past, I believe. If you check the Sawyer forum, there should be a complete list for seasons past. :)

While I don't necessarily approve of Sawyer hitting Daniel, there have been times I've wanted to slap an answer out of these people so I rather appreciated the scene a bit.

I liked when James told Juliet to stop being such a smart***, oh the irony.

and Hurleys whole recap of being on the island was priceless.

..and I liked that Ben took Lockes body to a butcher shop for safe keeping.

I am sure I can think of more but thats all for now!

I ddn't a problem with it at all. A guy can only take so much condescension and confusion before he snaps. That said, I know exactly what you mean about slapping an answer from these people.

Didn't really find the 'dead Pakistani' line funny, since Mrs.Reyes has obviously met Sayid before and was introduced to him as 'Hurley's friend.' I'd say she should know a bit about him, at least the basics like where he's from.

Perhaps I'm being nitpicky, but I never get much amusement from these sort of 'boxing Asians/ any other nationality' people together jokes. Dead Iraqi ain't a dead Pakistani (just sayin').

Also, of course, my lack of humor might be linked to the fact that I am a Pakistani myself! :D

I liked:
Richard: it points north
Miles: That chick likes me (he's a snarky git!)
Hurley chucking the Hot Pocket at Ben: too good.
Hurley: I'm the one who killed 4 people, or 3 or whatever. Heh.

I thought that too, but she said, "It looks like you heart them."

I liked Sawyer's, "You wanna be dead too?",
Ms Hawking's "What you need is irrelevant. 70 hours is what you've got."
Ana Lucia's-"Bro, you need to pull it together; you got a lot of work to do."...&
"Do not get arrested."
And Locke's hello.

Loved the points north, and Ben's stuff in BYL.
