I like it how they are starting things out teaching us about how we cannot change time. Like back in season 3, ep 8. Ms Hawking has a lot to say about "course correction" and the fact that we cannot change what will happen. Now we see Hawking again. I think these are all people who, like Des, are conscious time travelers.
