Is Widmore trying to obtain Locke's corpse? Ben told Jack he needed to keep Locke safe and he told Jill that if Locke's body wasn't kept safe everything they're trying to accomplish wouldn't work. Beyond the obvious need to keep Locke from decomposing could Widmore be after Locke's corpse as a part of his effort to retake the island?

I’m wondering if that is what Ben is concerned about too. And, since Sayid was tranquilized instead of killed, I’m wondering if Widmore is trying to gather up the O6 too. Maybe Widmore thinks they will be his ticket back to the island or at least a bargaining tool.

Wasn't thinking about that, but it seems very likely that Widmore could return to the island if he had Locke and the O6 together. Even if they were all drugged. Not sure what vehicle they will use to actually return in. A plane, boat or maybe Dharma's "Door." I hope it's the door.

I was thinking that the door leading nowhere could have something to do with time/space jumping. Good call. I had a dream about a Dharma station called the Road, but it was probably just a dream.:drowsy:

So far - we have people trying to find out if Kate is really Aaron's mother - which would expose the huge lie they are all telling - Kate would go to jail and Aaron no doubt would go into the foster system.

Men who were after Sayid - tried to drug him - not KILL him - which I think is fairly important.

Hurley is in jail now - just where they want him - they will send him away on a murder charge for life.

So - I can see them going after Locke's body.

I thought Widmore might be trying to prevent the O6 from returning to the island because it would help him return. As for the attorney sent to Kate(if they are attorneys) they could either be sent by Sun/Widmore in an effort to prevent the O6 from returning. I wouldn't put it past Ben to hire the attorneys as part of an effort to convince Kate to return to the island, after the attorneys showed up she nearly called Jack.

I was looking for a thread to post that in and it seems that I have found it. I believe that Ben is racing to "get the band back together" against Widmore. Ben needs to be with the group to be on the Island's good graces again. If he does not return with the group he will never get to return. Obviously if Widmore brings the group (06) back to the island Ben would not be included due to their famous feud.
