We all know the lie the Oceanic 6 told but what about Frank? What is his alibi?

And what is the cover story for the disappearance of the feighter and her crew? Don't the loved ones of Naomi, Minkowsky, Gault, Keamey etc miss them?

Somehow I think Keamey did not have loved ones. :D

Pretty sure they can say that the freighter they went out on was lost at sea, but that Frank survived.

I'm sure they will eventually tell us where Frank is but my assumption is he is somewhere living under an assumed name because Widmore is in all likelihood after him.

Yeah, since his whole purpose was to save the 815ers, Widmore probably planned on killing him when the pilot's position was no longer needed.:eek2:

It seems to me, that he'd need to go back as well; Des too, unless his miraculous specialness exempts him. Frank didseem to be living pretty much off the grid, before joining the Freighter, flying tours on some "normal" island in the tropics, so I don't think disappearing would be a stetch for him..

I thought he'd end up being Des & Penny's private pilot, this season, since she is rich as all get out. I still want to know what her research into the Island turned up.

Hope he's back.
I really liked him.

Frank would need a cover story to explain what he was doing in that area, but I doubt any of the people on the freighter was missed since it was a clandestine operation, plus people would not have connected their disappearance with that of the plane crash.

I think one of the big questions this season is what is meant by the phrase, all of you have to go back? Does that mean just the O6 or everyone who has ever been to the island like Desmond, Walt, and Frank. Frank does seem like a guy who could go off of the grid very easily.

People who go on clandestine operations still have friends/family who notice if they go missing for a couple of years!!

I think a missing freighter is easier to explain then a missing airplane. The cover story for the freighter could be engine malfunction and it blew up. Widmore trolls out the actually wreckage of the Kahana or more staged wreckage and the public would buy it. But I think Widmore kept the information on the Kahana's mission from going public when he initially sent it and it wouldn't be as big a news story as 815.
