This is kind of a "general theory" but based on the recent mentions of the rest of 815 being missing, I'm thinking, is it possible they got stuck back in time and their descendants are "the others"?

If that is the case then the show will have "jumped the shark" for me :)

Just kidding. I hope you aren't mad at me. I got heated earlier in that thread.
Sorry about that. All is well?

:eek2: Aren't Rose and Bernard to old to be having babies?

I want to know where Vincent is??? :frown:

I think the missing left behinders are either in the Temple having been taken by the Others or were taken somewhere by CS to wherever Claire is.

Did Rose ever go to the rape caves or was she one of the ones who stayed on the beach?

Um... wasn't Richard camping there in the 50s, with a whole bunch of "Others", including Ellie and Widmore?

Maybe I'm not understanding the OP...

I don't see why R&B wouldn't flash with everyone else.

They're either with the Others in 1977 or they are dead in the caves.

well, if the original Others are time travellers, it'd explain why an "indigineous" population of a Pacific (maybe??) island speak english to one another.

The others seem to adopt the ways of the groups that they come in contact with. Technology from Dharma, (ok this might be due to Ben joining them) Tents and Uniforms from the U.S. Army. So, maybe when the Black Rock Shipwrecked they took on the English language from the sailors. Maybe they originally spoke Phonecian or Klingon perhaps.

Vincent flashed back in time to 1800 and had children with the crew of the Black Rock! As we all know, human-dogs are identical to humans except they do not age and appear to be wearing eyeliner.

...but seriously, I think the Others' story will be told once we understand more about the statue. I am thinking it has something to do with ancient Egypt.

Wasn't there something about the others speaking Latin somewhere? How would that fit in?
