Greetings from NYC! We miss you here! I'm a transplanted New Yorker, but my wife is a born and raised Manhattanite!! We are Upper East Siders! Any cool places that you liked to go here and miss? Favorite restaurants and suchlike?

Awwww... I love my NYC. I used to live right near Carnegie Hall, so I had a lot of good times in Hell's Kitchen. But as you know, now it's hardly hellish. I loved it cause it's "Broaway's back door" and it reminds me of doing wacky unairconditioned black box theater and then going out afterwards. I love Filmcenter cafe and West Side sushi and this little dive called McCoy's and Armstrong's on Ninth... There are so many other places i love (Avenue A sushi in the east village and DBA right down the street on first)... But my hood was midtown. I used listen to my walkman on the swings in the playground right off Central Park South (near Woolman rink) and I loved walking to Bethesda fountain and dinner at the Boathouse-- That was where we always used to go for my birthday. Anyways, there's just a few of my places. Have fun and give the Apple a smooch for me. :-*
