There is something really weird about the flashsideways verse....it can't just one altverse....i think there's more than one!
Cause just after landing, Claire was in this taxi with kate and deliver her baby...it seemed to be the same day! And we saw Claire meeting jack, illana etc... she's dressed differently and she's still pregnant!
So i think that's not possible in one reality!

Some people also said that Jin/Sun timeline was weird too....impossible for Sun to be at the hospital the same day Locke was... i think the explanation is the same! Not only one altverse!

What do you think? Do you have other ideas to explain that?:confused:

I was confused about this as well. I hope that this is not an error on the writers behalf.

I said that a couple of weeks ago & was told I was wrong, that it couldn't possibly be so. I'm glad that someone else finally thinks there is more than one timeline. (Although if I remember correctly, Claire wasn't actually going to deliver when Kate took her to the hospital - I think they had stopped the labor.)

Calypso, I can't make sense out of your first paragraph. Claire went to the hospital to give birth, but didn't. Then later, in different clothes, she meets Desmond and Jack? I don't see the conflict there.

Ells, siempre enojado, was one of several people to suggest that there might be intersecting timelines explaining temporal discrepancies...I guess we'll have to see.

Claire didn't give birth the day 815 landed. She had 'false labor', Kate rushed her to the hospital where Ethan said she the baby was mature enough to be delivered if Claire wanted, it was her call. Claire said she wasn't ready yet to deliver, so meds were ordered to stop contractions. We haven't been shown yet what Claire did after leaving the hospital, but she obviously got a motel, as she told Jack this eppy when he invited her to come stay with him. Claire's meeting with Jack at lawyer's office and bringing the box to the hospital are obviously occurring in a single day, but subsequent to the day they all landed on 815. After landing, Jack went to his Mom's and later that day, attended his son David's night-time piano tryout. On a subsequent day some time later, he took David to the lawyers, met Claire, rushed to the hospital to operate on Locke, re-met Claire with the music box. Sun/Jin arrive at the hospital the same time Locke does, and in their story-line, they had settled into their hotel rooms, Jin comes to Sun's room in the morning and they have a dalliance, making him late for his morning appointment to deliver Paik's watch, thus the thugs come to him. I think we are supposed to believe that this is the second day in the Alt now.

WOW. Imagine if each one of them got his different universe!
