I have a few questions. After having rewatched LOST for the 4th time I just wondered if perhaps I haven't been watching closely enough, hopefully others have and could answer the following...

I have a problem with the continuity of Claire's story. When she finds out she's prgnant and tells her boyfriend she says 'my mum would disown me' and he responds 'she practically has already' but we later find out that Claire gets pregnant during the time her mother is in a coma so this seemed strange to me.
Also, when Christian goes to Australia with Ana Lucia, i'm assuming that this flasback was during the period just before the crash and Christian has words with a girl at her front door shouting about paying the mortgage on the house, who is that meant to be if Claire's mum is in a coma when she leaves for LA?

What ever happened to the large ship that Jack and the others travel on to return to the main Island in series 3 when he is returning with them to nurse Ben after his spinal surgery, why was this never brought up as a means of leaving? And also, Desmonds yacht??

If people need to have died on the Island for the Man in Black to appear as them, how did Ben's mother appear to him?

I also noticed, and this isn't a question, that most of our main characters has serious daddy issues.

I am a BIG fan of the show, I love everything about it and i'm devastated the it has finished but, unlike a lot of fans, I was satisfied with the ending. In fact I cried my eyes out (maybe more because I was sad that it had ended) and this is coming from someone who didn't even cry at the film Marley and Me haha!

Anyway, if anyone would like to explain if I have missed something (which is definitely possible) I would love some answers although, with LOST, the mystery of never knowing won't ruin my love for the show!
