Here's a suggestion for the upcoming DVD set. You guys may have already thought of this one, but here goes anyway.

Give the viewer the option of watching the episodes minus the backstories. And also, just as important, the option of viewing all an individual characters backstory scenes, minus the island scenes, back to back. Sort of like a mini-movie for each character.The writing is so excellent for both the island and backstory parts of the show it would be a treat to view the series in this fashion.
