It feels like Christmas!

I don't really have many plot questions..since I don't want to know the answers at this point. But since Sawyer has grown from a cursory glance to a full-time obsession, I have to know* if his various nicknames for the other characters that he seems to throw out so well...are those Josh Holloway ad-libs, or a conscious decision to add them in?

Some examples:
Shannon - Sticks, Sweet Cheeks
Kate - Freckles, Belle of the Ball, The Sheriff
Jack - Metro, Doc, Hero, Jack ***
Sayid - Al Jazeera, Captain Falafel, Abdul, Chief, Omar, Muhammed
Jin - Mr. Miyagi
Hurley - Lardo

(Yes, I did steal those from another board, sorry!)

Also, one thing that has always plagues me.....is there any significance to the fact that Claire did not feel her baby move after the crash, but the next day she suddenly could??
