I haven't read thru all the messages here, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating..... but I was wondering if you were a Lost fan before season two? Was it intimidating at all to be kicking off the second season, the new kid on the block, and knowing what a huge show it already was?

It hadn't started screening in the UK when I got offered the job, but mananged to watch it during filming. Didn't really realise how big it was....as for 'Kicking off the new season'...I didn't think of it that way..

So was it really you running the steps in the stadium? Did they have you do about 20 takes, just to see how long you could go? I would have been falling all over myself after about 10 steps, and too winded to speak. hehe!

Oh, and while Desmond is running around out there in the jungle could you do me one favor? If you stumble across Ana Lucia, could you push her into the path of the monster, or give her a kick, or something? Thanks much! I knew I could count on you!
