'Lo, Mr. O'Quinn!

I'm sure I've missed this somewhere, but without spending a lifetime reading all the boards and replies: Have the writers/creators given you any reason for Locke's name, in relation to the philosopher? He seems more on the side of mysticism and spirituality (not to imply organized religion or any sort of dogma) than government and political organization. With Danielle's last name being Rousseau, it seems more and more likely to me that it's not just a coincidence or meaningless fancy. Ideas?

Sorry if this is not your area, but I thought I'd check with the man himself before picking a writer or producer at random. Also, even before the resolute and questionably-scrupled Locke walked into my life, I've always loved your work. The Stepfather still bowls me over, and I've always been thrilled whenever I see you about on film or television. Thank you, sir.

No Urchin, I don't think there are many coincidences on this show, so you're right in my opinion..............also right in that Locke is more into spirituality than government, or perhaps he's just smart enough to realize that spirituality and mysticism are as real and potent in the true human experience as the more "practical" and mundane of our undertakings................."two sides of the same coin" sort of thing. Me personally.........................I like the magic side, and I believe in it........................But we'll see. Thanks, Terry
