Dear Raggs,

I'm very enthusiastic about that forum and the possibility to talk to the creative team!

I wonder how many "influence" the fans have on Lost or on television series in generell. I think there are two kind of fans. The one that are really 'fanatic': they build websites, go to the forums to discuss and send fan mails and the other ones that only watch the series. I guess these are the majority. So do you listen to what the fanatic fans want or is it more of interest that those who are not so involved get along with the series?

Do you as writer go to the forums and allow yourself to be influenced by what you read (not only by what people want to happen in the series)? What does the creative team think in generell of fan communities (especially the one of Lost of course)?

Thx in advanced

I fear you will think this is a generic response, but we truly do value and apprciate EVERY SINGLE ONE of our fans. And we will always work as hard as we can to bring them our very best. Week in... week out.

Dear Raggs,

thx for answering my question. I didn't want to imply that you care for one kind of fans more than for the other, I just wanted to know in how far you keep the fans in mind when you discuss and write an episode. For Example do you sometimes delibaretly appreciate the fans by a special dialogue or a nice metaphor..... whew it is hard to explain... maybe I should get clear in this and come back then... :lipsseal:

I know what you're getting at, Faulbeere. And althought we would love to sprinkle in a personal "shout out" to one faction or another, trying to construct a scenario in which to do so would paralyze the creative flow of our sessions. Therefore, we plow ahead -- and hope that you will all come with us.
