I'm not one to complain (complain, who's complaining?) about the show or the writers...or the writer's, uh, assistants(?) BUT! I would just like to bring to attention one eensy weensy, tiny thing....

First, let me say, questioning the higher authority of "Lost" is like a die-hard evangelist questioning whether or not Jesus had a beard...not my cup of tea. But I'm just wondering where the writer's are going with Charlie's character on the show. In the last season, Charlie found a small sense of redemption after Locke helped him overcome his addiction. And now...well I'll be darned if the exact opposite hasn't happened this season. Again, I'm sure you and your crew know what you're doing, and it's safe to say you still have a loyal fan, bad Charlie or not. Still, the moment Charlie found the Virgin Mary statue by the Nigerian plane was the first step towards every Charlie (even Charlie/Claire) fan screaming in unison: "Oh. My. GOD."

In light of recent events on the show, it seems our sweet, simple Charlie/Claire "ship" has sunk. Ouch. Very ouch. It's this very turn of events that's crushed the souls of thousands (dare I say tens of thousands?) of PB&J fans everywhere. I hate to use the jargon, but it's come to this.

So what do you think, Raggs? Is there the slightest hope for Charlie and Claire and now Aaron in the future? Is the great S.S. PB&J ship plundered forever?

Sorry for the long write, and you're porbably never even going to read this... but if you happen to glance at it, thank you so much. I'm still feverously watching.

Hi Carrie,

Thank you for your terrific submission. You're right, Charlie has taken his share of lumps this season, hasn't he? That being said, you cant' derive any sense of satisfaction from a character's success unless you first see him broken down. Now I'll grant you, he's broken WAY down at the moment. But don't you go quitting on Charlie just yet. There is ALWAYS a shot a redemption on this island and although I'm not guaranteeing anything, I would be doing you a disservice if I told you to move your support elsewhere.

Now as far as Claire is concerned, please refer to the episode on March 1st titled MATERNITY LEAVE that just so happens to have been written by a guy named...

Raggs

Hi brook,

Thank you so much for the very kind words, I sincerely appreciate them. And I'm thrilled to know you will be tuning in for "Maternity Leave", I'm so nervous and excited about the episode I almost can't stand it.

Avingon is wonderful, isn't it? I can't tell you how much I loved the year I spent there and how great it was to go back this past time to show my wife around. It's such a special place and it meant a great deal to us to be there for the holidays.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to me and please know that your appreciation really, really matters to me. Thanks so much for sending it my way...

All the best,

Raggs

P.S. - - Jesus had a beard? Really? Who knew?

You are the best! Thank you thank you thank you! And I am SO excited for "Maternity Leave". Ethan. Claire. Dharma hospital? I'm shivering with an..tici...pation! ;)

Thank you so much for responding, I just know everything will work out! And, if not, what doesn't cancel the show will only make it stronger (kidding, kidding. It would take a tankar of Hurley's ranch composite to stop this show!)

SO! In conclusion...Lost rules, you rule, JJ and Damon are gods for creating this show, and the ship shall emerge again!....Hopefully. Maybe. Sorry, I'm giddy. Someone better beat me with a Jesus stick before I go completely nuts.

Thanks again!

Andale, por favor! Lo deseo!

Um...what was I saying? Oh yeah, congrats on your new additions to the writing staff! Too bad JJ's been working on MI3 (that's right, we're on a first-name basis...he won't admit, but I taught the kid everything he knows...)

I JUST saw a trailer for Emilie deRavine's new movie "The Hills Have Eyes", and for some reason I thought of you! It must be warped cannibals in the desert...yeah, that's it. Anyway, for some reason it made me think of the promo for "Maternity Leave"....a medical hatch? Who knows. Oh wait....YOU DO. You lucky, lucky individual.

Just don't hurt my Claire! She's so small!

Thanks a bunch!
