Ian,
* * *Hey!* I am a fellow southerner who was raised on Twain, Flannery O'Connor, Otis Redding, Robert Penn Warren, and Faulkner.* I tell everyone I know that the two Faulkner must reads are As I Lay Dying and Absalom, Absalom!* If you had to choose, what would be the one or two Faulkner selections that you think one should read in one's lifetime?* Also, have you read Cormac McCarthy?* He is very Faulkner-esque in my opinion.
* * *I must compliment you on a terrific episode this past week.* I am now a huge Boone fan and I hope that Locke does not lead him astray.
Cheers!
