Hello Jorge! How goes it?
I havea little question for you: I tend to be very shy, so I dont' act. However I am a musician and am currently preparing to audition at four universities on the piano. During auditions I get horribly nervous, hence the butterflies. I'm sure you've been through auditions before...do you have any advice on how to stay calm? But please, please, please don't tell me to imagine my judges in their underwear...that's creepy! :o

I'm shy too. Acting is a way I let myself out.

Butterflies are your talent, it can't wait to come out and show itself. So don't get caught up in your nerves just play. Pressure makes diamonds. And if you have to throw up before every performance so be it. No big deal.

Thanks for the advice, I'll see what happens this Saturday (my first one, although not as major, ths one is for a performance accompanying an 800 person choir! :o I figure I should get some practice with this huh?)
As for the throwing up thing...that might almost be as bad as imagining them in their underwear... :P Anyways, thanks so much for replying with great advice! (I like that diamond part, that is very cool!)
