Hello Terry. First I just wanted to say that I think you do an amazing job playing Locke. Never before has there been a character where I'm constantly wondering where he stands and what he's going to do next.

Along those lines, I've noticed that while Locke has helped quite a few people on the island, he often uses rather questionable means to do so. So because of that, I was wondering, do you believe that Locke is a firm believer that the ends justify the means no matter what the cost?

No Leeshy, I woudn't say that yet. I think he believes in strong measures when necessary, and the blow to Boone's head did seem a little risky, but he clearly didn't intend to kill Boone. Other than that, he hasn't really taken any radical chances with anyone's safety.......................(has he) And let's face it, Boone was particularly dense in his obsession. At any rate, I think Locke has so much faith in himself at this time, and faith in the Island, that he acts without much hesitancy. Let's see what happens when he's faced with a tougher choice.

Thanks for your question.......... and be well. Terry

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question Terry!! You've definitely given me a whole new perspective on Locke's motives and actions, and you're right, I'll have to wait and see what he does when things get tougher.

Thanks again!
