Hey, how's it goin' Terry?

I am going to study to be a film director. (At a community college, don't got the dough for the big schools) Anyway, I wanted to know if you have any tips for a young guy who wants to direct.

Mainly, I wanted to know what an actor wants in a director. When you work with a director, what gives you the feeling like, "This guys good,"?

Oh! I also wanted to know one silly question: Who is the one person you would want to meet?

In a director I want a person who comes up with ideas, and listens to ideas, is eager to discuss, and knows when to zip it..................to give ideas a chance to percolate...............who knows when you're struggling..................and has something to offer...................and is prepared, has asked himself a lot of questions about the material.

The one person I would want to meet?

My mother.........just once more.

When I've worked on short films, my actors(aka brothers and sisters :laugh: ) have always said that I don't know when to shut up.

But I figured that was just siblings being siblings.

But now that I've heard it from someone with success in the business, I will make sure that that is something I will work hard on.
