You who is so kind with sweet Jack and Kate moments (more please ;D)...I have a q regarding the seeds Jack gave Kate in H&M. I already read the answer to the why he gave them, but I'm wondering about the seeds themselves..So many things on Lost are symbollic & props are rarely chosen w/o meaning behind them. Can we take the seeds to be a metaphor for J/K's relationship, that with tender nurturing & care they will grow into something fulfilling & rewarding? Or as Freud would say are seeds just seeds-LOL.

i think your metaphorical interpretation of the seeds is a valid one - it may not be the only one, but it fits for two characters wiith a blossoming relationship.
