Hi Gregg!

Thanks for taking the time.

I wanted to talk about the clip show. I know that you make them to attract as many new viewers as possible but I was really surprised because there was not ONE Sawyer and Kate moment in it...Worse..There was not ONE Sawyer moment in it. It's like The Long Con never happened. How come? :eek2:

Yes, I know Gregg...Sawyer again! But I don't know if you understand our frustration. It's not about The poker game or the tree frog, it's about the whole thing. Sawyers fans are not shallow and it's a pain to watch him like this (reading books, used as the comic relief and the whipping boy). Where's the depth? His character has lost the complexity that he had last season.

Shirtless Sawyer is not enough anymore guys!
And it's pretty strange that there is so much difference between our views and writers views.

Anyway, I was really bummed to hear that Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse put together that clip show. But at least It's obvious now who they want together at the end and who's not important. Our biggest fear that Sawyer is there "for entertainement only" comes true.

My question is: How after that clip show are Sawyer fans supposed to feel ?

Because for the moment they feel used. Yes. used.

Good luck Gregg in your job!

Eydenne.

I hear what you're saying and I understand your frustration. Sawyer is a very compelling character, and Josh Holloway is a good actor who makes you want to watch the character. And I certainly don't think that Sawyer fans are shallow at all. I don't think the writers have forgotten about him or think of him as unimportant.

I really wouldn't put too much significance on Sawyer not being mentioned in the clip show. (This clip show had a lot of viewers, more than I anticipated. And I think that means people want anything Lost that's new in a way.)

There are four episodes left in the second season. There are a lot of characters to service and a lot of story to tell. These next four epsiodes are really great, and I think after the final episode you may have a different outlook on things.

Thanks for the reply Gregg!

Pretty vague as usual but thanks anyway.;)

I hope you understand that Sawyer fans don't want to harass you. We have nothing against you. We love you. We only have you. :)

Me in all my vagueness. The fans must be so sad... :)

(And I don't feel harassed at all.)

Yeah, we feel terrible! ;)

Just kidding. I understand your position, trying to please everyone without giving too much... And we are used to that. Javi was the king of vagueness, then came Matt Raggs and now the saga continues with you. Thank you once again. :)

I was not a Charlie fan last year but I like "the season 2 new improved Charlie" (aka Darth Hoodie). I was really surprised by The Long Con and Charlie's involvement. Great episode. I like snarky Charlie. You (I mean you all everybody!) did a great job with his character development. :)

As a "viewer" do you prefer his relationship with Locke or Eko? And do you think he's done with Locke?
I know that something big is coming up between Locke and Eko. And I hope that Charlie will be included in the storyline.
