Hello ,

I guess I am like a lot of people in that I am getting tired of the Jack show. Lost was much better, when it was an ensemble. It seems the only person who is important to the plot is Jack.

I know that Damon has posted on the Linear Board and said, "if you are unhappy with Lost watch Criminal Minds or Veronica Mars". I want to be happy with Lost , but it is difficult when it has changed so much from the show I loved. :frown:


I know a lot of Sawyer fans feel that Sawyer has been unfairly treated. People feel they can't forgive him for the frog squish, which served no purpose I can see except to make people hate the character. A lot of fans hoped , when Sawyer took the guns and became the island sheriff , that it would give him a story and take the character in a new direction, but that hasn't been the case.

I am a fan of Kate and Sawyer as a couple , but not the Kate who can't shoot, track, or tell the rest of the Lostaways , what she found in the medical hatch.:rolleyes:

I'm hoping the last few episodes will be better for Sawyer , but I am beginning to feel even if something happens, that is good for the character it won't carry over into the new season.

I know that you and others look to the internet for feedback and I wish I had something more positive to say. I am not just one disappointed viewer, many people feel the same way.

I think you just hit it on the head. Why did Sawyer squish the frog and take the guns? People on the island were just starting to like him and then he goes off and does obnoxious things like that. Why?

On the raft at the end of last season, didn't Michael say something to the effect that Sawyer just wants people to hate him? Or was it Kate who said that to him? I can't really remember, but I think that is why Sawyer did those things. I'm not saying this from a point of knowing what the writers are doing, I'm saying it because as a viewer I think that's what's going on with the character.

And how do you think Kate feels about herself? I think her kissing Jack was very complicated. I think Kate and Sawyer would be together if they were off the island. They have a connection that is palpable. But she also has a connection with Jack. It's almost like Sawyer represents her bad side and Jack represents her good side. However, I think Kate feels she's not good enough for someone like Jack. And I get that mainly from her kiss and her reaction to it.

Now no one trusts anyone nor tells them things that are going on. I kind of like that because it feels real to me. But I do understand why you're disappointed. If you choose to tune out, I suggest Veronica Mars (I like that show, too). I just hope it comes back next year.
