I recently posted these in the "wild theories" section not really in the hopes of getting answers but more to help us all keep track of the loose ends. It seems like there are more cliffhangers than there are resolutions.
For the record, I am really enjoying the show and I don't want to be "spoiled." And personally, I am looking for the scientific and logical answers to all the questions.
So...I was just wondering if I have questions that the writers have thought about too or if some of my questions will never get answered:
1. Where does the cable lead? Both into the water and inland.
2. What killed the pilot?
3. How are the trees getting knocked over? Broken or uprooted?
4. Where is Rose's husband? Are there other survivors?
5. Who or what is Alex?
6. Why is the compass wrong?
7. Who hit Sayed on his head and broke the transceiver? I do not think it was Danielle because he was hit with a branch and not the butt of a gun.
8. Why was Danielle asking where Alex was? Why did she seem awfully determined and diabolical for a scientist? Is she part of a military science team?
9. Where is Jack's father? Wasn't the coffin empty?
10. What is the black rock?
11. How did the polar bears get there?
12. Where does Vincent keep running off to?
13. What happened to Adam and Eve? What was up with those colored stones?
14. What is the hatch?
15. Why did that swimmer drown?
16. Who did Kate kill? She seemed to be pretty good with a gun.
17. Who is Ethan? He seemed pretty bad *** like he was a green berret or something.
18. What is the secret Locke told Walt?
19. What is the significance of the backgammon game?
20. How did Locke get paralyzed in the first place?
21. What's up with Claire's kid and the psychic?
22. What's up with Walt's powers?
23. What is/was the significance of the comic book?
24. What is it that Locke saw when he looked into the eye of the island?
25. What happened to Sayed's homemade compass?
26. What are the others "carriers" of?
27. How did Ethan take both Claire and Charlie seemingly effortlessly? I mean, how was he always one step ahead of Jack? Surely, dragging both people would have slowed him down.
28. What's up with the weird tides?
29. Who are the others? Danielle said she has never seen them.
30. What is the power source that the "others" now have control over?
31. How did Locke become paralyzed?
32. What is the significance of the song that Shannon tol Sayed about when she was translating? Did I miss something here?
33. If Locke had truly been paralyzed (or otherwise not used his legs) for four years, how would the muscles in his legs not atrophied?
If any of these questions have already been answered but I missed something, please enlighten me. Also, I would like to know if all these questions will ever be addressed or if I made up mysteries that never existed.
Thanks!
