Since you're one of the few that knows the all-encompassing answer to what's going on on the Island...
What I'm wondering is, does it satisfy your expectations, personally?
Do you think the answer will be resolute enough to satisfy the majority of the dedicated fan base LOST has generated?
If, by chance, you think the answer isn't sufficient now, does the writing staff still have enough wiggle room to tweak the resolution, in order to make it satisfying? Over time, they can realize the best way to wrap things up?
...Still, with all these fun clues leading up to a big mystery, I hope most people realize that's not what the show's all about. It's a show about humanity-- the decisions we make and how they affect us, our future, and those around us-- and so much more. It's not really about Dharma and The Hanso Foundation, that's just a fun side thing. The show is about people. So, in my opinion, it doesn't really matter what the answer is...
"It's about the journey-- not the destination." :)
*EDIT: "Yes, Damon and Carlton do know how it's going to end." So does that mean you don't know? I thought this was a good question. Was it too upfront?
