View Full Version : Question with Continuity

First of all, I must say that I love this show so much, and even the last few episodes have been great and it looks like it's only going to get better. And now that I've read your sticky post about what a Script Coordinator is, I think your job seems really intriguing (and tough). Someone's gotta do those things.

Anyway, a couple of questions have been entering my mind that I'm a little bit concerned about, and since one of your jobs is with continuity I decided I should ask you about them.

#1: In season 1, the symbolism of black and white was established throughout some of the episodes, like in Pilot 2 when Locke played Backgammon with Walt, and he held up two white and black pieces, saying, "One is light, one is dark". Then later in House of the Rising Sun, Jack, Kate and Locke found the caves with the Adam and Eve, and Locke found a bag with white in black stones in it. Then in Raised by Another, Claire had a nightmare that showed Locke with black and white eyes. Did that lead somewhere?

#2: The eyes. The majority of season 1 episodes started out opening with characters' eyes. We just don't see that anymore in season 2. Is there a particular reason for this?

Those were the two things on my mind that seemed to stop in continuity, at least to me, since season 2 started. I don't mean to sound negative or anything but I'm just wondering about this.
