Hey William!

Some Foster care kids about to "graduate" from the system are coming up to learn things that are not taught in school, how to eat well on a minimum wage budget, dealing with icky roommates, dealing with credit, and that sort of stuff. It got me thinking about all those things that teachers never tell us and parents forget to mention ("walking off" that injury will lead to pain and interesting swellings down the road). I was wondering what you learned on your own that you REALLY wish someone would have at least mentioned to you before?

Now how about that formula for your Papaya Scones? Are you even allowed to admit you actually eat scones or do you risk being whisked away to a reform camp for actors who fall off the dietary wagon? If you share that I'll share my Peach Mango Salsa recipie, it could be cooked down to a chutney to top those scones..............

May I please, first say KUDOS!!!!! I posted the same question in a couple of boards and you were the first to respond!! Give yourself a big 'ol hug for kids society forgot about!

Now what I was wondering and asking people about since I came home to a message from a friend's "Big Boss" asking me to head up "the program". You are the only one to address "internal study"! I asked just about anyone, you were the only one to address any form of self reflection LOL (but so sad). Who wouldda thunk huh? That was the bit I was working on. I have worked with kids and shared bits about it. "If you hate something about someone, well, do you have or lack any of those traits you hate?" In a world of external images (see the mags they look at in check out line) They now have basic validation.

You have made my genuine list of "People I admire I will never meet" It includes Payne, Wayne, Twain, West (old enough to be Kanye's grandma), Bogart and his wife Bacall, mixed with assorted IG Nobels (please "google" it if it's new to you, and if anyone has found the the publication from '92s "art" PLEASE let me know, I have to top my friend's gift of the Kama S---- of the same "variety" ) .......can you guess my "Heaven Dinner Party" would be beyond interesting LOL.
May I please have your "offiical" OK to say " You know that Ethan guy from "LOST" who was also in The Grudge?" " Do you know what he wishes someone told him?"?
My Salsa? answer and I might just share it...................

WELCOME BACK!!!!!!

I am sure your plate has been really full, but I, for one, am glad to see you back after such a long time of "quiet". I have been repeatedly told your work in the 9/11 was wonderful! (not ready to see it yet)

You might not know that some of us check in to see your humor after an icky day. I was wondering if you have been published????
