I've watched your diplomacy skills in action over the last 6 weeks....
US Department of State is looking for a few good men....

Saw that you won't be around as much after finale, just wanted to thank you for all your time and responses (even though getting a answer out of you is like trying to nail Jello to a wall.....)
MIl gracias Gregg...Enjoy your break and again thanks for making this fun and interesting....
Salud....

Thanks for reading the posts. Fans aren't a problem -- it's nice to have so many people passionate about the show. No one's been rude or unpleasant to me, so it's not a problem being diplomatic. And as an added bonus, no one's held me hostage to demand the secrets to Lost!
I hope you enjoy the finale, the answers it gives and the mysteries it sets up. Let me know what you think.

Wow - server finally let me in....
Great Finale - 12 thumbs up.
Didn't answer as much as we had hoped it would and some of us beta-geeks still aren't sure why/how the plane crashed but have accepted the "because he didn't push the botton" simplified answer..... Electromagnetism is way beyond the scope of expertise of anyone in our family.
Really enjoyed the performance of Henry Ian Cusik.... Wow!
The pile of notebooks caused a great deal of discussion, I exaggerate, a whole two minutes during the commercial because we all got the big shush from Mom_of_4 when the show returned.
2nd_of_4 (age 11) had been saying , "I'll bet it's Desmond's boat" for the entire week before the ep. So he was feeling pretty good about his "theory".
3rd_and_4th of four even put down the new Nintendog (cyber pet) game that they had gotten that day to watch the last 90 minutes of the show. Tell the powers that be , "Ratings Schmatings - Lost beat Nintendog in the 5 - 12 age group".
Mom is pretty disappointed with the turn in Michael's character in the last two episodes.
Kids had also hoped for more screen time for Walt. I know that some of the initial appeal of the show for our kids was that there was a kid in the show. They miss that element of Walt and Vincent. The moments where Walt was throwing the knife in season one, trapped by the polar bear, wet whispering, etc. gave the kids a character that they could champion or identify with. So let's hope that Walt or the other missing children have a role in the future season. I know that WC Fields was against dogs and kids but they do appeal to family viewing.
I'm rambling and your busy, so I'll cut to the chase. I kind of compare watching Lost to going to the movies. I mean, we received two hours of entertainment that would have cost us $60 or $70 bucks (with popcorn and smuggled in red vines of course) had we gone to the cineplex. Did we get our monies worth... Yes, we did 12 thumbs up.
So if you ever get to our neck of the woods, we can take that $60 bucks and we'll go to Pollo Loco on us.
Thanks again. Tell all involved that we can't wait for the DVD's and season 3 premeire.

Glad you enjoyed it, and glad the entire family got a solid night of entertainment that will stay with them for a while. And who knows? Maybe next season the Losties will find a huge hand statue that goes with the foot, only it has 12 thumbs... You never know... :)
