Since I keep missing you online :(, maybe I'll leave you another post. What would you say was the weirdest acting job you ever had? Either the weirdest role or the weirdest situation you were put in? I know it's a random question, but there must be a story somewhere in there, if it's coming from you. ;)

Hey sweetheart. I'd have to say it was my last "non-union" gig (meaning, no one was required to make sure no one got killed or something :o). It was for a mini commercial for a levis jeans "contest" and long story short, they drove us out to a bombed out area in Newark NJ to this boy's club pool, gave us weights to wear in our pockets, and then made us get in the water (fully clothed-- in levi's jeans, of course) and pretend to play instruments under twelve feet of water. It was really freaky cause there were hardly enough safety precautions. Luckily I'm a good swimmer (and know how to hold my breath for a long time and equalize my ears and stuff), but they put this ten pound weight belt on this sweet little Vietnamese girl (who couldn't have weighed much more than that) and sank her like a stone! She flipped out and wouldn't go in the water again so I had to do her last few shots-- playing a sax, of course. It was really kind of a bad paying nightmare. I learned the hard way-- SAG is a good thing.

OMG! :o That sounds terrible! I hope the little Vietnamese girl was okay. :' :( Talk abiut suffering for your art! Did that commercial ever air or is there a way to see it? Not that I want to see you suffer, I just want to see you playing a sax under twelve feet of water! Just kidding. ;) Anyway, just so you know, I just went ona RANT over in the shipper section about how I disagree with this "Shayid" business. I'm ashamed that it even has a name. I think we need a Sayid/Nadia ship name, such as "Sadia" of Nayid." After all, your his soulmate. She's just his hootchie. :o No offense, to Maggie, I'm strictly dissing Shannon here. Anyway, take a look over there if you get a chance, cause I'm not alone in this-- other's can back me up. Thanks for sharing your story, for always answering my posts, and I hope to catch you online one of these days. Sending you much Nadia love.

Oh yea, I forgot-- sorry to bother you again, but I have to ask another question... The scenes with you in the prison were so intense, how did you specifically prepare for them? I know all of your scenes were in the prison :-\ but I'm specifically refering to the first one where Sayid recognizes you. It's kind of a general question, but I'm so curious as to what you, Andrea, were thinking at the time. Get back whenever you have the chance. Thanks, Andrea.

Hey there, Jordan. I remember there was a window in the room we were shooting in and while they were setting up the shot ( I was already handcuffed and in the chair) I spent time looking at the sky. I was thinking about what it might be like if someone told me I wouldn't be seeing it again. It really helped to get me in the state of mind because then I had something to work against-- something I could keep in the back of my mind but I still had my purpose in the scene, which was to stand my ground despite knowing that. You try to find your tools around you and then of course, the rest was easy cause I was working with Mr. Naveen. ;) Thanks for asking.
