A frivilous question I know, but as an Australian I have to know who came up with the line "I'm the only Australian who loves peanut butter"?

I took me quite by surpise as I love peanut butter, most of my friends do as well, and I was not aware of this reputation my country had as non-loving peanut butter nation. I would be interested to know the on what basis this line was written?
