Dear Mr. Burk,

I'm a member of the Museum of Television and Radio who attempted to purchase tickets to the Paley festival yesterday, including the date that the Lost Cast and Crew will be in attendance (March 12, 2005). The festival has become so popular that the website crashed for about an hour, and those of us who actually went to the Museum stood inline outside in the cold all morning long. The most popular shows, yours and Desperate Housewives, sold out before half the line was able to purchase tickets. I accept that and know that my only option at this point is to now go down on March 12 and stand inline for Rush tickets.

The reason I'm writing now is that I've noticed several Ebay auctions for tickets. This means that several members further up in line bought extra tickets in order to make a profit on these seminars, causing the members later in line to miss out. An abuse of membership, to which I've recently emailed the Membership address at the MTR in hopes they would pull Vero status with Ebay to cancel those auctions. I was hoping that I could persuade you and some of the other cast and crew to contact the MTR as well and put your weight behind this request that they at least try to show they care about their membership. I'll include the appropriate contact info for you to contact them and to point out the most outrageous of the Ebay auctioneers.
