I was reading the new Entertainment Weekly pullout feature which had a page on each character and then provided a burning question from either you or Carlton for Season Three. I was suprised by what it printed about Claire. It quoted you as suggesting that there could be another man on the island for Claire besides Charlie. I went, HUH?? :confused:

Now I know things can't stay perfect forever and conflict equals drama, but I'm wondering why you're so eager to throw another stumbling block in this couples' way, when they've barely reunited. I'm sure you know how popular the ship of Charlie and Claire are and that shippers had a very tough season two and are thrilled that they're finally getting closer again. So why cause panic? :frown:

I sincerely hope you're not planning on breaking up this incredibly cute couple with such fantastic screen chemistry. There are other ways to introduce conflict. Not only that, but the whole making Charlie jealous thing has already been done. Why is it being suggested that Claire is out of Charlie's league? Why can't there be another woman for Charlie if you want to go there? Let Claire be jealous for a change! ;)

Anyway, I just wanted to voice my concern and hopefully it's over nothing. My friend even suggests you were hinting at the Jack/Claire sibling relationship as opposed to another love interest and that's certainly a possibility. Charlie's already been through so much, I just don't want to see him get dealt more grief. He deserves some happiness at this point. There are a lot of viewers rooting for this relationship so I hope it will endure in the end.
