I seriously expected there to be an existing thread on this already, given the new shots of the logo we got last night, but I couldn't seem to find one in this episode's forum...

If anybody's made a clearer cap from any other instances of it appearing in the episode, please post a link! From this pic alone, I don't see how people can maintain it merely says 'DHARMA', there is a faint red image underneath that indicates a 'station' (is that a flame?!).

Could it be that the Others' village is also a station with it's own logo? One of you more knowledgable people sort me out here...

Isn't that the Staff logo? Most people I've heard from think that this is the same type of canteen that Ethan used to give Claire water in "Maternity Leave."

I might have failing eyesight, but that looks at least a bit like the Staff. No?

Yeah, it's definitely the Staff's bottle (seen in ML). We've got the Hydra to deal with first, any more so soon and people will lose track :P

It was probably a real easy way to cut some corners. Why have the prop department design a new sleeve for the canteen when they can just use the old one.

It was the same Dharma symbol that Ethan had in the episode about the Staff hatch but it didn't have the staff symbol on it. It had the Dharma symbol on it that the shark did.

Hmm, I may have been wrong about the canteen -- it certainly does resemble the Staff, I just assumed they wouldn't 'repeat' that logo in a seemingly unconnected environment... I kind of thought I saw symmetrical detail at the bottom of the logo (hard to explain), which made me think it was a new one...

However, what about the water bottle/shark? The shark logo really does seem to be more than 'DHARMA', has anyone made any really good caps from the DVDs yet? Does it look any clearer in that little 'behind the scenes' snippet about it? I guess I could just check...

I guess I don't remember seeing a stock 'DHARMA' logo w/ no actual image anywhere, including the Rachel Blake film cited on Lostpedia (which is probably just my faulty memory). Some good caps of the water bottle from the 2 episodes of this season would be helpful...

it may just be the canteen bottle from the staff hatch (looks like it to me ) but the others have access to many of the hatches if not them all apart from the swan hatch obviously,so they could of picked the water bottle up anywhere

Good thing Sawyer didn't drink that water. I immediately thought of Claire's "This water tastes funny" remark to Ethan in ML; I'm pretty sure that there were drugs of some sort in it, that naughty Ethan. :)

"The Flame" station (what we saw on the blastdoor map), probably isn't this one. Because the flame station probably has a flame logo. So this is probably a new hatch we haven't seen yet.

Yes it is the canteen from 'Maternity Leave'. Look more closely at Ethan's canteen. It has the same red staff logo with Dharma printed over it. It is the medical station symbol!
