Javi, a non-scientific analysis of this web site's postings would lead one to believe that Hurley is one of the show's most popular characters with the audience. Yet there seems to be little development of his character by the writers. After all, Jack, Kate, Jin, Sawyer, Charlie and Locke have all had multiple back stories BEFORE Hurley has even one. Even the Monster and the Polar Bears seem to get more compelling roles. Why is this? Please don't excuse this by pointing to the upcoming episode - that's great and all - but I'm wondering if it's because the creative staff can't see well enough, early on, who is going to be interesting to the audience or because of some Hollywood bias against big people? Or maybe you guys just don't like Jorge? As always, I'm shooting you because you're the messanger and this in no way is to suggest that you guys don't ROCK!
