For me it was, after Boone said to Locke sarcastically "I was a sacrifice the island demanded", when Locke, voiceless, mouthed the words "I'm sorry".
That and after Charlie's crack about the hairspray ("I hate to be the one to tell you this..."), the way they smiled at each other. I hope he & Charlie are on the path to buddydom once again.

I don't know about touching but it broke my heart when Locke's "mom" angrily called him an idiot. :frown:

I liked Lockes "You should go back to the camp and Claire" or something like that.
It was the closest he came to an acknowledgement of being mistaken when he slapped him down.

The scene with Boone and Locke was great. Locke was teary eyed and trying to tell Boone that he was sorry. Awww. I know Ladybug, I hated that scene too, don't anybody ever call my Locke an idiot!! I wanted to smack that lady.

I'm so glad that someone mentioned this. That scene was such a great testament to Terry and Dom's amazing acting chemistry. It was the most genuinely real interaction I had seen between characters since well, since the Claire and Charlie kiss but I can't think of many other moments like that. It reminded me of when Locke showed Charlie his lost guitar in the vines above them and they both smiled, but this was even better probably because of how much longer they've worked together since that time. It was almost as if they broke character for a second and just smiled at each other, but I know that didn't happen. It just felt that real. It was a moment where they really connected even though there were no actual words to explain it.
That was screen magic.

I really felt for Locke when he found out that he was chosen by the police in facing down Eddie.

I agree. When Locke was asking Eddie if they knew it would be him I was worried the answer would be yes. Locke is so vulnerable. Ever since the very first Locke episode "Walkabout" I've been thinking that someday Locke is going to be the hero or savior. He's had so much in his life make him angry and his faith tested so many times that I want/need him to come out on top in the end. I hope that makes sense.
I also loved that moment between Charlie and Locke where they smiled.

When Locke was teary eyed while pointing the gun at Eddie. You can tell that Locke is really a "good" person and he could not murder someone despite that the world that he really loved was about to crumble. Go Locke!
