This is something my husband picked up on and he's not even a rabid fan..and it probably means nothing.

But did you all notice in the opening when Charlie and Locke are trying to commuicate...the scene where Charlie was tying canopy on what looked like a makeshift kitchen? Look a little closer at what he's using. It looks like Henry Gale's parachute...is that what it is?

So did someone tear it down and bring it back with him.... or did someone go get it? Or was it the one that came with the food drop?

It isn't the usual blue tarp that they use on everything else...and it looks like a parachute to me.

Like I said..it probably means nothing but I found it interesting.

It was definitely a parachute, but I assumed it was the one from the food drop. I didn't see a smiley face on it--and I looked.

Nice to see Charlie building stuff for the community though. And the way he asked Hurley to bring bandages for Eko. Maybe he is coming into his own a bit.

Of course! The smiley face!

Now that I think of it Henry Gale's ballon and things might come in handy...but will anyone go get them? Of course not!

It always irked me that no one went back to the cockpit. I know..monster and dead bodies and all that but there might be some useful stuff in there!

Yeah, the only one clever enough to salvage anything was Charlie. ;)
