I dont' know if this has been mentioned before, but is the "other" that stabed Sawyer with the needle the same guy that Sawyer told where the 10 million dollars, it's near the end, i think his name Agent Freedman from the Treasury department

Have you done an IMDB search? They look similar, but with the angles, I'm not convinced yet.

They do look VERY similar, but IMDb is almost always correct.

same thing happened with Michael's thread...it wasn't him, but they looked very similar.

Hmmm...it's very hard to tell. If you're getting over anal (like me) you'll notice that they have different hairlines. One has a widow's peak, the Agent doesn't. But it's an interesting casting decision....

Their not even the same age. The fellow who with the needle is in his early 20's, and the fellow from the prison is early 30's.

How come every time we have two minor characters or extras that look slighly similar (just same hair color, etc) everyone thinks it is deliberate? There are so many extras and minor characters in this show, the chances are very high that there will be two characters that look somewhat similar.

I don't think the needle guy was Jason. Ben says "Jason" and the two guys both start moving, the guy with the shaved head shoves that thing in Sawyer's mouth, then the guy in scrubs gets the needle ready. Unless we've seen needle guy called Jason in another scene, it seems just as likely that the shaved head guy is Jason, because he is the first person to act after Ben says Jason. There is no listing for the needle guy on IMDB and Ariston Green is listed on IMDB as (warning next episode spoiler) being in the next episode "Cost of Living" and is billed as a guard, which would be strange since the needle guy seems to be some kind of medical personnel.

Wouldn't Sawyer have recognised him if they were the same? But in the flashback, the Warden says "You've met Agent Freedman" and Sawyer nods. He would've remembered if they were the same

I'm starting to think that perhaps TPTB are purposely giving away wrong actor names. They have known now that we dissect every eppy, check out spoilers,check the casting calls and much more. So why not simply give out foilers to stump us??? Just a thought.

Well I normally do not even bother to post in these look-alike debate threads, because it is usually way off. However, I agree that these two DO look strikingly similar. I can't agree/disagree on the hairline comment because that needle pic is too dark for me to see any widow's peak.
I am inclined to think that they are still not the same person, but who knows. This one is at least more plausible than the Michael thing. I missed it while watching (you have a sharp eye!) It is certainly interesting to note and I will keep it in mind.

It's possible, but as I pointed out the needle guy isn't Jason so it doesn't really matter that the names don't match.
