I re-watched this episode and noticed a few things that I did not the first time around and did not specifically see posted here before and thought I would note them:

<shown in the "previously on lost" intro> Colleen used Sun's proper name - I believe this was a clue from TPTB that the others have info on all of our losties and a connection outside the island - there was much speculation on the boards that Juliet did not really have a file on jack and that their connection to the outside world was just a con, I think this was the TPTB's way of answering that speculation definitively

I saw posts about the cartoon jack was watching and there is good speculation there to sink your teeth into, but I did not see the more simple clue noted, and that is that it was another reference to black and white

Kate & Sawyer: I think we will eventually see what happened to kate between not breakfast and being caged and I think it will be something similar to what they have shown us they have done with sawyer - they planted fear and doubt about something to keep her in line - also there has been a lot of speculation on why she went back into her cage and I think that this answers that ~ and additionally, she knows sawyer pretty well and she is crafty and familiar with somewhat similar situations, I think she states it pretty plainly right in the episode when she says to sawyer as she is climbing out something like "the fact that you are lying and not trying scares me more than anything" - she knows she doesn't have enough information to escape successfully - she doesn't know where she is, how many others there are, etc., she may have been threatened directly or indirectly, and I think she doesn't want to leave either of the men behind

it seems like jack heard kate yell for him when he was being taken to help colleen, there is a point when she is yelling his name that he kind of stops and "looks" in her direction - somehow I think that could be important later

the scene where danny picket is beating up sawyer and makes kate say she loves him, really makes no sense, if he just beat him up to take out his aggressions - fine, but you would think if he is inflicting pain for the sake of his own grief then telling him she loved sawyer in theory would make him kill him in front of her eyes for that kind of revenge, something just doesn't add up there...

the others clearly know that the losties think they are bad guys, thats why keep telling the that they are not, but the losties only think that because of the others actions and if they are so smart, they know this - so why all the anger at the losties for reacting to the stuff the others are doing, intentionally - why keep doing things that ensure fear, mistrust, and ultimately violence - it doesn't seem to be bringing desired results, something here doesn't add up either - as of yet anyway...

comms down must refer to the outside because they showed us on bens monitors that they are still connected to other parts of the island they are on and also the lost island (assuming that patch guy is on the lost island)
