Hi Carlton,

I believe you said this as the tagline for the episode "I Do". It certainly is true, isn't it? I wanted to give you and Damon my thanks and praise for writing such a wonderful episode. Give credit where credit's due, you know? This one was a powerhouse of emotion, romance and action, complete with a nail-biting cliffhanger.

I loved everything about it: Locke's touching eulogy for Eko and the "lift up your eyes and look North"; Jack putting his life on the line to try and save his friends- cutting Ben's kidney sac- I really didn't see that one coming; Sawyer willing to die for the woman he loves, and Kate willing to do ANYTHING to save the man she loves (that scene will be forever etched in my mind); Kate and Sawyer finally giving in to their love for each other- it's about time! The love scenes were very well done- very romantic, full of tenderness and emotion- it's honestly the best I've seen. There was a lot of symbolism there too (as always on this show). Let me just add that I adore the way their relationship's been written and developed over the past two seasons. Smokin'-hot chemistry aside, there's a realism, intensity and passion to them that I don't see on televison anymore. It's really quite beautiful, the way they are together. This is truly an epic love story. So thank you Carlton, and to all involved, for giving us Kate and Sawyer. And trust me when I say, you've made so many people happy by finally getting these two together.

I also wanted to let you know that I hope you and Damon will write more episodes together in the future. This one was pure genius, and this season has been amazing so far. I can't wait for the rest of season three. By the way, I get a kick out of listening to you two on your podcasts- too funny!

Thanks for you time. :)
