I admit, they are not ALL the same, but the main characters are pretty much the same, if not, very similar.

Examples:
Charlie: Drug addict/ plays in a band
german: Hans - painter and alcoholic that needs to get of the alcohol on the island.


Michael and his son: need to find each other/ trust etc... wasn't the dad good in building things?
german version:
Udo: good guy, but scared of his emotions. Ingenieur.
his daughter Natasha: split relationship to her dad. Trying to find a person she can identify with...

German:
Bianca: Married to Jorg. She's smart and brave.her husband changed negativly.
sounds familiar??

I can't find Jack or a couple others...
the bald guy that looks like Locke is actually a ex cop. Guess what? He has a walking problem.

OH, and there is a pregnant girl somewhere too .
