Hey Nomad (is that S. Rogers or J. Monroe?)... Just a quick, general sort of question...


Are cut-scenes considered continuity? Sometimes it seems like there's some crucial information on the DVDs, but it's hard to tell how seriously it's meant to be taken. Take for example, the case of Mr. Eko and Richard Malkin. Did Malkin really tell Eko that he was a fake, and that he took money from a couple in America – or is Malkin really a “psychic”? To put it even another way, does Malkin believe himself, or know himself to be a liar?


OK, so that's one question that turned into some general wondering, but... Still, the main brunt of the question is: Are cut-scenes canon?
I'm sure it's an often asked question, and one which a person gets sick of answering, but some nights, you stare at the walls, you chew at your nails, and you wonder...
