Before they stab Sawyer in the chest to make him believe he has a pacemaker, the Others have this conversation;
[Jason approaches Sawyer with a stick about 8 inches long.]

JASON: Bite down on this please.

SAWYER: You bite down on it.

BEN: It's for the pain.

^^ This reminds me of when Sun brings the stick for Boone during Do No Harm.

[Another Other, Matthew, approaches Sawyer with a syringe with a very long needle.]

SAWYER: What?!! Wait! Let me up! No!

BEN: God, I hate needles.

SAWYER: No! What are you doing?!

[We see Jack in his cell eating. He hears Sawyer yelling through the speaker.]

[The scene switches back to Matthew trying to inject Sawyer.]

JASON: No, you have to go through the sternum -- the sternum, like in the movie.

MATTHEW: I know. I know.

SAWYER: No!!! ^^ When Boone's lung collapses in Do No Harm, Jack's motions to inject the lung are extremely similar to this.

If the Others
A) Have not-so-hot medical skills
B) Are watching the Lostaways

Then possibly they were watching a movie of Jack doing this to Boone?
Help me out if this has been discussed, I've been searching.

I don't know that anyone else made that jump to earlier Lostie actions. I think the Pulp Fiction comparison is a lot easier to see, since its an actual movie.

It would make sense for them to be watching Pulp- Fiction because Lost has referenced plenty of current media already, but the fact that they have him bite down on the stick, just like Sun gave to Boone, is what really seals the conclusion for me.
