View Full Version : Next Other to turn Lostie?
The Dharma Chief 05-21-2007, 02:40 PM As the title says, which other do you think will be the next to turn lostie?
I've put forward 5 options, some of which may seem implausable, but then again, that's for you to argue and decide.
Enjoy guys!
Edit: Multiple choice IS enabled.
myothercarisflight815 05-21-2007, 02:44 PM I voted Alex. Since I don't think Rachard ages... I don't know if he could be a lostie.
lowclass 05-21-2007, 03:03 PM I think its pretty obvious alex and rousseau are gonna reunite for the finale. or maybe they'll kill off alex instead to keep the questions about her age in check
Clerks 05-21-2007, 03:16 PM I think none of them should "join" our group, but they should remain good people within the Others group.
I could deal with Alex and Karl breaking lose and joininh our group, maybe with Danielle, but I like how it is.
Eight 05-21-2007, 03:39 PM I voted for Alex because I think Ben doesn't care if Karl is a Lostie. They will use some sort of code word to trigger Karl and turn him into some kind of robot-killing machine. But of course where Karl is Alex will follow.

irish lost fan 05-21-2007, 06:55 PM Alex definately. I can't see any of the others on the poll turning lostie.
lostlocke 05-21-2007, 07:13 PM I'm not surprised that Alex is leading in the polls! She's the most obvious choice. I'd love to see her join the losties. In fact I'm counting on it.
The Dharma Chief 05-22-2007, 11:25 AM At first I voted for Alex, however, having looked over it I don't think she'd make a great "good guy", it's better to keep her as a black sheep amongst the others atm, or aligned to another faction but rooting for the losties like her mother.
I'm surprised at the lack of votes for Richard, he seems a plausable turncoat.
Mothling 05-22-2007, 03:50 PM I highly doubt the Losties would ever accept Ben as a part of their "group", nor even allow him to stay with them on the beach. One could argue that they did with Juliet, but she was a different case entirely. Ben is their numero uno enemy. I can't see them being as forgiving.
Out of the list provided, the obvious choice would be Alex. Already we know she loathes Ben, and regularly helps the Losties. And now that Karl is over with the Losties, I doubt too much time will pass until she joins him there herself.
NotAnOther89 05-22-2007, 04:35 PM Im more interested in seeing if any more of the losties will be joining the others...a direction I think the story is going to start taking if Locke becomes a prominent member of the others. We'll see after the finale I guess where the story is going.

That's very true. In my opinion, Locke has learned and got everything he can out of the Losties, and now he is moving on. I would be surprised to see him go back to the Losties early next season.
Kathleen1 05-23-2007, 11:30 AM Well I voted for everyone EXCEPT BEN because almost everyone hates him and I think that he should die, maybe him and Mikael will go off together
Tom - I think that he made it clear that he wanted answers also when he didn pull John Locke off of Mikeal.
Richard - He helped Locke get Sawyer to kill his dad nuf said
Jacob - He spoke to Locke
Alex -- She now has doubts about who is really her parent, she has helped the losties more than once
hakwam 05-29-2007, 07:43 PM Alex is a Lostie already, so I have to say is Richard
chops 05-30-2007, 02:13 PM I have my suspicions about Ben's motives for trekking up to the tower to meet the losties. He's already switched to what he recognised was the stronger side once and he may be trying to do it again... He's a born manipulator and, although it's a long shot, he could be planning on joining the losties. After the arrival of Locke and the betrayal of Juliet, Ben knows that the others are beginning to doubt his leadership. A good time for a move maybe?
Ben could be sharing information about Naomi in an attempt to win their trust. Notice that he didn't tell them exactly why using the phone was a bad thing or make too much of an effort to persuade Jack not to use the phone. Instead, he did the very thing that he knew would anger Jack - kill his friends.
Also, what is the reason behind taking Alex with him? To keep her with him if he switches sides or as another tool to help him win the trust of the losties and Danielle?
Why did Ben separate himself, and his daughter, from his people, especially if he thinks the losties are going to be attacked by outsiders?
