Remember way back when I asked you if we could make you a wish list?
Well, it looks like the list is for naught, because today it was announced that the DVDs will be released on Dec. 11th, and some information was revealed about what extra content will be included on them.

Two questions:
1. Do you and your team have any say on the release date or was that totally out of your hands? Seems like it is definitely time for the holiday sales, as well as getting people ready for S4, although it seems a little late, don't you think? I mean, November would still be good for holiday sales (maybe better), and at least wouldn't be so close to S4.... New fans might not catch up in time for S4, and big fans like us wish we had the DVDs earlier in order to watch everything over and over....

2. Are all the extra features already all set and ready? Or is there still some flexibility for what is going on the discs? If so, here is the wishlist:

* The Extended versions of the episodes that will be aired during the summer hiatus, hopefully including such scenes as The C/C kiss, the little girl in Jack's cell, Kate's breakfast?, Claire walking in on Nikki and Paulo, "butt shots" of Desmond running through the jungle, etc.
* More episode commentaries, esp. with cast members (we all have our favorites, but there are specific fan favorites who have barely spoken on the DVDs, though, such as Henry Ian Cusick). Would it be possible to have 2 (or more) per disc?
* Video commentary on an episode? (Not just audio.)
* Fan commentary for a select episode
* The Writing of an episode (more in-depth than in the F+W featurette; maybe in-depth of several episodes)
* L:OL segments ten minutes each for as many eps as possible (3-5 mins is too short!) and a 20 minute segment for the finale
* More one-on-ones with the main actors, talking about their characters
* Option to watch deleted scenes during the actual episode?
* Audition footage of newer characters
* More bloopers and pranks
* Flashback actors, particularly recurring ones like John Terry, Julie Bowan, Katie Sagal, Kevin Tighe, or Clancy Brown. Also, the special stars that came to do just one show, like Evan Handler.
* Visual FX featurette
* Sound FX featurette
* Michael Giacchino featurette
* Clips from international dubbings
* Fan and conventions featurette, including behind-the-scenes/making-of The Lost Experience
* Season 4: What we can expect from the next season (without actual spoilers, obviously) / Long-term plot plans from the Creators
* As many as possible (all?) episodes promos/trailers for the season--including Addicted to Lost video and the David LaChapelle UK Promo--version with the Portishead song, if possible
* Set tours, including Othersville
* Awards Won (2006-2007)
* "The Final Episode" of "Lost" spoof from the CES convention
* DVD-ROM aspect
* Subtitles for bonus material
* Foreign trailers for the show (cast speaking in foreign languages)
* Making of the Lost video game
* The Behind the Scenes on Lost special that aired in Hawaii only

(This does not include any of the more specific ideas that you said you could not read.)
