Pardon a variation of the "are you guys really making it up as you go along" question.
Do the various "mysteries" fit together where they all make sense of one overall story, or are there just numerous not-really-related mysteries on this island?
In other words, merely as an example, if one knew the identity of the "monster" would it help explain the object buried in the ground, or would knowing the significance of the numbers help explain the location of the island? Would any of that explain who Claire's baby is?
I'm not looking for specific answers. I just want confidence that this is a puzzle that HAS a solution, that these mysteries DO make sense - if the right clues were ever deceiphered.
