HeyHey!

Ok heres the thing. I REALLY want to be an actress, always have, always will :) but i dont know how to go about it. I get that you need an agent to hear about auditions but i dont know how you go about getting one or how you know good ones from bad ones and id love to get into american TV like Lost as it always seems so have more depth to it. Working with JJ and Damon and all the crew there must be awesome.

Im only in my first year of college (studying acting) so im 16 so theres not loads i can do independantly yet. So i guess what i am asking is how do i go about getting auditions for decent shows (Especially American ones) being English and still young.

try to find out who is casting background for your local area shows. get to know them and explain that you want to join the screen actors guild. the casting people may tell you about roles that are coming up and can also refer you to a good agent. here in hawaii there are only two agents that are SAG affiliated meaning they know the rules so they wont get you in trouble with any non union work. thats a start.
