I was just wondering...how ever many seasons this show runs for (hopefully 30 excellent seasons; I know you'll be able to do that somehow) have you COMPLETELY and ENTIRELY decided what the ultimate final episode ever will be about?

I'm not asking for any details, I don't like spoilers, I just want to know if you've got everything entirely planned out already.,

uh, just kidding...

we do not know specifically what the last episode will be. what we have are a series of core ideas that we know - who the characters are, where they are going, what the island is, what the monster is, who dies, who lives, and so on... and we have a plan about how to unfold these things over however long a period of time we get. we also have a bible that was written very early on (a lot has changed since then, but not the core ideas remain).

so the answer to your question is yes and no, we know what the questions are and what the answers are, but how those are revealed in a dramatic fashion will really depend on how long the show goes!
