I just got your announcement that there might be only five rushed episodes this spring - please God nooooo!!!
Think this through. The fans were promised 16 episodes this season. We're absolutely loving the first 8. After those air, take some time and really polish up the next 8 of the season and air them in the summer or fall (I know, ABC's call, not yours). Then nothing is rushed. The eight story arc isn't screwed up and made to fit into Cinderella's size five shoe. Air them without breaks during the summer or fall, then package all 16, as planned, onto dvds for Christmas video season.
We're glad to have you back, but please don't fall prey to the rush to air/artificially shortened second pod strategy! We can wait a few more weeks for the full order of 8, with really well-prepared scripts and the proper amount of time spent in post, as well.
I think the fans would rather have the promised 8 episodes even if we have to wait a little longer to make sure they're not quickly thrown together.
