Has anyone noticed that what the characters were doing and saying was kind of odd.
It was like we weren't getting the whole story.

First of all, they're all acting like complete enemies. Like why did Jack want to send Kate with Sayid and Miles? Why did Team Locke want to ''trap'' Team Jack anyways? (Team Locke didn't know that Team Jack were with or would have one of the freighter people..) What did Kate yell for Sayid when Sawyer came in, since when was she afraid of him? Why would Locke hold and imprison Sayid, even after he took ''precautions''.I just thought how they were all acting was kind of unusual. Cause either something's else is going on, or the writers weren't quite consistent with character development, or maybe it's me...:undecide:

Second of all, didn't Locke already captured Miles? How could Sayid trade Miles for Charlotte while Miles was under Locke's control? Because they made it seem pretty dramatic when Sayid said I'll trade you.

Third of all, did anyone else notice that Jack said ''Good Locke'' to Sayid instead of ''Good Luck'' before Sayid got on the helicopter? Is this some kind of code a la ''Tell my sister I love her''?

I think something happened that we don't know about? Does anyone else agree?

Another q, Does this mean that Elsa was ''waiting'' for Sayid to sit on her table at the cafe? or did she just realize he's a spy/hitman afterwards then he Economist told her what to do about it?

I'd appreciate your thoughts and ideas on this one...Thanks!:)

RayanK-
First- I think Jack realized Sayid had his own agenda, and thats why he wanted to send someone he absolutely trusted. Team Locke wanted to trap Team Jack because they dont trust the freighter people, and Because Team Jack is working with them, they cant be trusted either.

Did he really say Good Locke? I think you probably misheard it.

Elsa knew Sayid was after her, so she knew that eventually hed try to introduce himself, though probably not specifically at the cafe.

He didn't say trade did he? I think he just said he wouldn't want her for nothing. I think Sayid made it clear he was of the same thinking as Locke with no trust for this freighters, I think Locke was going to let Sayid go anyway and didn't really care about whether Kate stayed or not. I think all Locke really wanted to hold onto from the infiltration group there was Miles. They probably shouldn't have made such a big deal out of that little trade of words between Sayid and Locke bc I don't think it made that big a difference. Locke wants to know what is going on with that boat, and if Sayid is suspicious of them and he can get on it to investigate, Locke is going to support that. He doesn't NEED Elsa, because by his thinking, as long as he has one of them, he still has hostage power. Course they might not give 2 craps about Miles like the pilot inferred, but nonetheless, he still has a hostage and has a way to find out whats going on on the boat.

I heard that too. Good to know I was not the only one.
Or we're hearing things that doesn't exist or Jack was just making a joke about the situation.

Thanks for your explanations What Would Jeff Do and Locke and Load, I guess it makes sense but it just sucks to see the Losties not quite friendly with each other.

But still I don't know, I still think something fishy is going on. Watch the ''Good Locke'' part again. There is NO WAY, that could be Good Luck.
