I know explanations of the science/pseudoscience nature will be forthcoming on the "mysteries" of the island. But will some things be left for the viewer to accept as fate, whether it be a religious belief (Gods will), coincidence, or astrology...whatever the viewer's personal beliefs are? Or even deeper..Science vs Morality? I haven't missed the religious inferences being made and wondered if this show will be thought provoking as well as entertaining.

While I love theorizing with the science part of it, I also would love to have some it left up to me to decide what I believe in. Such a great show..keep up the good work. It's been awhile since a show has stimulated my mind enough to bring me to a Forum to discuss. (Actually I've NEVER been to a board before this show!! See what you have started! )

Thanks for your time,
Cindy

why does the question of fate up against the will remind me of echo and the bunnymen? weird.

i think that for every question we raise and every mystery we pose there is both a mulder and a scully interpretation - although we know what everything is at the end of the day, the ambiguity and room for interpretation are what gives the show it's unique texture, for now, we really are trying to not give explanations that are so hard and fast that the show becomes one-sided. we want to keep you guessing and thinking...

thanks for the question!

Okay, I just had to bump this one up. The Locke and Jack scene talking about science vs faith knocked me for a loop. Very cool. ;) I almost felt like you guys were giving me a shout out! ;D

Just kidding...excellent work and congratulations on great finale.
