* * * * * *Okay so I was skimming through all the posts to you to see if this question came up, and I didn't see it so I thought I would ask.

* * * * * *First off, I am a huge Charlie/Claire fan. My first question is.......is one writer responsible for all the charlie/claire stuff or is it a collaboration among the writers.* Because who ever does it comes up with the sweetest stuff!

* * * * Also, so how do you writers come up with character relationships?* At the beginning did you just lay out all the characters and then say he will be with her, she will like him, she will be between these two guys.* *Or is it just as you write these things happen.* I'm just really curious.* Like the whole Shannon Sayid thing.....totally didn't see that coming.* It is just so great.

* * * This is hopeless but ah well! Could you have charlie and claire kiss or something before the season is over?? Okay I'm sorry I'm done now.* Thank you so much for reading and replying if you replied.

it's a collaborative process - we come in with a story idea based on where the show is going and all of our macro planning and the we narrow it down into character. but there is no one person responsible for any one facet of the characters (although very early on, the writers drew names out of a hat and that person got to develop the backstory for those characters - but that was very early on in the history of the show). we all come up with it together, drawing from our creativity and life experience.

can we have them kiss?
